About Erica
Erica Sirotich is an author and illustrator residing in Buffalo, NY. She has written and illustrated four books for children, and illustrated several others. Her most recent book, MAIL DUCK HELPS A FRIEND, came out in 2023. In 2020, her books MAIL DUCK (Abrams Appleseed) and CAN WE BE FRIENDS? (HarperCollins) made their way into the world. Her authorial debut, the picture book FOUND DOGS, was published by Dial (an imprint of Penguin) in 2017.
Children's publications like Highlights High Five, Highlights Hello, and the Usborne Little Children's Activity Book series regularly feature Erica's illustrations. In the past, her work has appeared on toy packaging, apparel, and decor for children's rooms.
Erica creates her illustrations using both traditional and digital media.
She likes animals, coffee, books, and adding to her collections of rocks, stamps, and Japanese kokeshi. Along with a few new books, her baby girl was born in 2020, too.
Her last name is a tricky one. It's pronounced /see-row-titch/.
