I've been playing with using new media in my work lately and made this lil' PSA in the process! It's an important message to keep in mind while the days get hotter and hotter. Leaving a pet (or child, for that matter!) in a car on a hot day can lead to heatstroke, suffocation and even death in a short amount of time! Here's the Humane Society of the United States's printable brochure on the topic. The HSUS offers some tips, too, on how to respond if you see a pup locked in someone else's car on a hot day. Have fun this summer, but keep your little fur babies safe and cool.
